Founder of Somers Family Concert Series – 33 sold out concerts featuring singers and instrumentalists from NY City Opera and Metropolitan Opera.

Producer of THE RING – Four Plays for Children based on Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen which received international attention, including N.Y. Times, Opera News, Musical Quarterly.

Performances atMetropolitan Opera’s List Hall and Kaufmann Concert Hall (92^nd Street Y)

Founder of Somers Intermediate School Chorus – with participation of 250 children or more each year for 17 years.

Invited Advisor to Metropolitan Opera Education Department

PROFESSIONAL DEBUT

1972 –Pianist-Conductor of the world premiere of Tom Johnson’s The Four Note Opera .

Cubiculo Theater, New York City. The Four Note Opera was later performed on the CBS Television Network and at the Lincoln Center Library

Pianist and composer - Ballet de Monterrey – collaborating with Cynthia Gregory, Fernando Bujones, Melissa Hayden, Ann-Marie D’angelo, Fernando Alonso
